Ahavas Yisroel’s next teen minyan is scheduled for February 12, Parshas T’tzaveh. Ahavas Yisroel invites – and encourages – all teenage and pre-teen boys to participate. Davening will begin at 9:15 am downstairs in the social hall, followed by a Kiddush.
Tzedakah Request for Our Member of Tzahal
As many of you know, Yisrael Kalker, Richie & Terri's son, is a tzanchan (paratrooper) in the IDF. Currently he is in the midst of his active military service before his scheduled return to Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh for the learning portion of his Hesder 5-year commitment.
He has contacted Barry in hopes of raising enough money to purchase equipment and clothing for his unit; known as 890 and B’nei Yeshiva (Beynishim). Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated by Yisrael and the entire unit. Checks can be made out to the Congregation Ahavas Yisroel Tzedakah Fund. Please write in the check memo section "Chevrah L’maan HaChayal." Checks can be given to Barry Simanowitz or mailed to him at 141-29 72nd Drive.
