Simcha Shapiro will receive the Avodas Hakodesh Award at the Young Israel of Huntington's Fifteenth Annual Journal Dinner. Anyone interested in participating in a group ad should e-mail David Kirschner at david@kirschners.us.

Once again, the Queens Jewish Community Council will hold its annual free concert series at Cunningham Park (196th Street and Union Turnpike). All concerts begin at 7:00 pm. Bring a lounge chair or blanket.
