9th and 10th grade girls’ classes need maternity replacement teachers immediately until the end of the year. The hours are Monday –Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 noon, and on Friday until 10:15 a.m.

The 9th grade position encompasses the subjects of Chumash, Parashat Hashavuah, and Ivrit, taught to two sections, alternating with the co-teacher of the 9th grade, who teaches the other subjects.

The 10th grade position encompasses Chumash, Halacha, Hashkafah, Parashat Hashavuah, and Navi. From 9:30-10:3 on Monday-Thursday, the students have math and so during that time the teacher would be given other students in small groups or individually who need additional support.

If you know someone who is interested, please direct her my way immediately. Please pass on this notice to anyone who might know someone. I would consider a returning seminary student who is in school and available in the mornings. Someone who has experience would obviously be desirable.

Shabbos Chol Hamoed Plag Minyan

There will be a Plag Minchah Minyan on Shabbos Chol Hamoed at 5:45 PM.

Special Garbage Pick-up

There will be a special garbage pickup on Monday from 12:00 AM to 6AM.
There will also be a drop-off site at the Vleigh Place Library.

Chometz Drop off on Sunday April 1

On Sunday April 1 between 10 and 1 PM Tomchei Shabbos will be accepting unopened chometz at 85-19 Abingdon Rd.

Alternate Side Parking Rules Suspended on April 3-6 and April 9-10

Alternate side parking regulations will be suspended on Tuesday through Friday, April 3-6, and Monday and Tuesday, April 9-10 for holiday observance. All other regulations, including parking meters, remain in effect.
