Other activities will be planned throughout the year to commemorate this great achievement.

Doors open at 8:30 pm, and the drawing will begin after 10:30 pm. This community-wide event promises to be a fun evening in support of a very important local cause. All men and women are urged to attend. If you are unable to attend, advance orders for raffle tickets may be phoned or faxed until 9:30 pm on the night of the auction.

New Beis Medrash Program

The program has gotten off to a great start. We've had 10 people learning before and after Maariv almost every night. The Rav emphasized last week the importance of learning in the Shul, both for yourself and to strengthen others. If you are not already participating, come learn with us at leastonce a week before or after Maariv.

Tuesday, November 6:
7:00 pm–10:00 pm: The Women’s League’s Clothing Drive. Clothing will be shipped to Kiryat Sefer and distributed by Bracha (Pearl) Silberstein. Because shipping costs $18 per box, collection will be limited to the following items:
· Clothing for infants and toddlers
· Shabbos and weekday clothing for children, ages 5-12, in very good condition
· Boys: Long pants/shorts – dark colors, polo shirts with buttons, and regular shirts in white, plaids, or stripes
· Girls: Dresses, skirts, and jumpers, blouses with appropriate sleeves
· Shabbos clothing for teens

3:15 pm: The Women's League will have a shiur on "The Torah Perspective on Anger" by Susie Garber next Shabbos, Parshas Toldos. The Garbers will be hosting the shiur as well at 147-37 70th Avenue. The Shiur is l'iluy nishmas Susie's late father, R' Moshe ben Avraham HaLevi z"l.
