YERUSHALAYIM RALLY: This Sunday, May 9, at 10:00 am, the QJCC, the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills, and Councilman James Gennaro will hold a rally in front of the Vleigh Place Library in support of retaining Yerushalayim as the capital of the Jewish People. It is imperative that we speak as a People on the fate of our Yerushalayim. Otherwise, our silence will be deafening. We MUST have a maximum turnout to bring this issue to the world. Bring signs and people. The QJCC will supply flags.

CHESED L’AVRAHAM: Next Thursday, May 13, at 8:30 pm, at the Young Israel of Queens Valley, Kew Gardens Hills will once again be honored to have the SKULENER REBBE Shlita in our community. Please come to greet the Rebbe at a reception for the benefit of his world renowned organization, Chesed L’Avraham.

AVIGDOR’S HELPING HAND will hold its annual Shavuos bake sale on Monday, May 17, 6:00 pm-10:00 pm, at the home of Mrs. Debbie Benedict, 138-23 78th Drive.
