The Jewish Heritage Center will be having their annual Chinese Auction this Moetzei Shabbos, December 17th at Shaare Tova 82-33 Lefferts Blvd, Kew Gardens. The doors open at 8:30 and the drawing will not begin before 10:30.

In R' Yechezkel Rosenberg's chavrusa program this morning we explored whether you must eat a kezayis of vegetables to join in a zimun and whether somebody who joins in based on vegetables has to say an after brocha or can he be yotzei with the leaders benching. An interesting footnote was the Chazon Ish's reference to the Chofetz Chaim as the GRIM.

This particular sugya was one of the most difficult to date, but R' Rosenberg made it digestible for all those present. If you missed it, you can download it here.
