Shabbos M’vorchim Kiddush:

The Shabbos M’vorchim Kiddush will take place next week, Parshas Emor (May 10). A hot Kiddush is being planned. The minimum sponsorship is $100. If you are interested in sponsoring, please call Yoni Platovsky (718-459-2290) or Jay Daitchman (718-263-1688).

9:30 – 11:30 am: The Orthodox Union is sponsoring a free breakfast seminar at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills entitled, “The Latest Developments in Prevention & Treatment.” The program will feature several Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center physicians, including Richard Gewanter, who serves as Chief of Radiation Oncology at MSKCC Long Island.

Every Sunday:

9:10 am: Kew Gardens Hills “AMEN” group for women at the home of Dovid and Ilana Goldschein, 72-10 137th Street. The group is always looking for more participants.
