This week we begin Shov'vim, and it's brought in the Gra's name that the main thing is not sigufim but the ikar is shmirah ha'peh and with this a person can atone for every sin. Especially in these days when we must be extra careful with out speech, the yetzer puts all his kochos into entrapping people in this sin, and pulls us all into such a "mud" that it's almost impossible [to find] someone who hasn't fallen into this blutta (mud).
